TNT Bowling

Last night Tina, Emily, and I had our Bowling fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society. What happens when you combine bowling, booz, and a bunch of endurance athletes? The pic to the right should give you an idea.
Everyone had a great time. The highest score was Tina with a 203 I think. The lowest […]

Sticking to the Plan

Today I was scheduled to do a 120-minute, zone 2 ride, so I decided to do it with the TNT Lavaman team. The picture to the left is me and my friend Emily from the Lavaman team. We did one of my favorite routes. We started at Lomas Santa Fe Dr. and headed north to […]

Steamy Pool

This evening I went to La Jolla High School to do my swim workout. The pool was warm! That may have been because the air outside was so cold. Tonight my workout was well rounded. It was a total of 3000 meters. (The pool was setup 50m.)
A lot of pulling again. The main set was […]

Buhr 2

Many of you are aware of my “grumpy face”, which usually comes out when I am cold. I have spent the last 6 days nestled in the clevage of Utah’s high country… in what is now known as Park City. The day before I left for this trip I went to see Dr. Runco about […]

Cross Training

Greetings from Utah! Today we had an incredible day one the slopes. Knee to waste deep fresh powder. I wore my garmin and it said we snowboarded 23.8 miles and burned 3000+ calories. Not a bad workout at all. I will upload the data when I get back.

One More Repeat Please

Tonights track workout kicked my butt. My normal track workouts are in the 3-4 mile range… tonight Felipe busted out a 5-mile track workout! That’s not including warmup and cool down either.
The workout involved a 1-mile hill loop that we did 3 times. But after each loop we had to do “fast” runs. 800, 1200, […]
