The Fall!

Today a headed out early to meet up with Greg, Ryan, Marty, Pat, Brian, and a few other for  what was supposed to be an easy 40 miles in zone two. The first half of the ride was beautiful… there was a lot of hills climbing but the beautiful scenery made up for the pain […]

The Pressure’s On

Last night I had an unbelievably good swim at Coronado Masters. Dave Wilcox and I accounted for 100% of the male representation in Lane 4. I led the lane and swam the workout pretty hard. I didnt let Wilcox and the women rest very much. After we had already swam about 2600m the coach decided […]

Nice Brick

Yesterday I had my usual Thursday track workout at La Jolla High. It was such a nice day I decided to ride my bike to track. Its about 10 miles round trip. All the usual suspects were at track last night. Nikee, Freddie, Luke, Rabecca, Paola, etc.

Mission Bay Loop

I absolutely love my new place in Mission Beach. One of the reasons I love it so much is that it is SO convenient for training. Last night I walked across the alley to the bay and did a loop. The small loop is about 4.85 miles and usually takes me 40 minutes.

It is all […]

The course started out at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and went out to PCH. Then […]

Rough Run

Last night was the first track practice I had done in about a month. The one word that best describes last nights workout for me is “rough.” The workout itself was not bad and was shorter than what Felipe usually gives us. The main set was 6*800 at race pace. I usually finish right in […]

The Reason

As I am sure you have noticed, I have not been blogging very much the past two weeks. The combination of being sick and preparing to move has left very little time for training and blogging. Today is the first day I have felt better in the past 3 days so I think I am […]
